The Utah Odia Community is a non-political, non-profit, and voluntary organization established in 2018 by a small group of Odia families residing in Salt Lake City, Utah. Our primary objective is to foster strong and harmonious relationships among Odia individuals living in Salt Lake City.

Our community is dedicated to promoting friendship, support, giving back, and togetherness. We strive to encourage socio-cultural activities in Utah and to showcase the rich heritage and culture of Odisha. We aim to create a home away from home for all our members.

DHAULI, also known as Shanti Stupa Dhauli or the International Peace Pagoda, is a remarkable monument designed to inspire peace and serve as a unifying symbol for people of all races and beliefs. Its purpose is to bring individuals together in their pursuit of global peace.

Odisha, formerly known as Orissa, is a state located on the eastern coast of India, along the Bay of Bengal. It is renowned for its vibrant tribal cultures and numerous ancient Hindu temples. The capital city, Bhubaneswar, houses hundreds of intricately-carved temples, such as the Mukteshvara Temple. The Lingaraj Temple complex, dating back to the 11th century, is situated around the sacred Bindusagar Lake. Additionally, the Odisha State Museum provides insights into the region’s history and environment.
